An exciting opportunity is available to join a high functioning Early Childhood Improvement Branch (ECIB) team in the Southern Melbourne Area as a VPS5 Kindergarten Improvement Advisor (KIA).
The role of the KIA is to advise, support and build the capacity of funded kindergarten services across Southern Melbourne Area (Casey, Cardinia and Dandenong) to continuously improve service quality.
The role will provide specialist advice on change management and quality pedagogical practices, and influence practices through evidence-based strategies.
The role requires leadership skills, well developed problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. The ability to form strong relationships and networks with early childhood providers is essential.
The Southern Melbourne ECIB team comprises of an Early Childhood Improvement Branch Manager, Kindergarten Improvement Advisors, Early Childhood and Performance and Planning Advisors, Early Childhood Funding Advisor, and an Early Childhood Support Officer. The role will be supported by the ECIB team and the broader SEVR ECIB branches with opportunities to network with colleagues.
The role is in Southern Melbourne Area, with the office located in Dandenong.
