**About the role**:
As the Key Account Manager putting the customer first is your number one priority to ensure you are creating an exceptional customer experience as well as finding, developing and executing new business opportunities.

You understand teamwork is critical to achieving this success. Working in conjunction with the Branch and Area Manager you will help drive a culture of work smarter not harder, through innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiencies.

We are open to this role being based in either Wollongong or Canberra.

Responsibilities include:

- Building and maintaining customer relationships
- Analysing the market to identify business opportunities
- Generate new opportunities to build on existing client base
- Strong business acumen and reporting skills
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints
- Monitor and report on DIFOT results

**About your experience**:
You are a proactive and engaging team player with a customer-centric focus, who has a passion for account management. You enjoy operating autonomously and have a high level of integrity.

You also have:

- A proven sales record in Construction, Steel or Manufacturing industries or looking for a step into a sales role
- The ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
- Have strong time management and communication skills
- Exceptional negotiation skills
- Strong demonstration of achieving KPIs
- The ability to positively engage with key stakeholders
- Valid driver’s licence
