K&L Gates' complex commercial litigation and disputes practice has tremendous capabilities and is well-equipped to take on the most complex and difficult engagements anywhere, anytime around the globe. Our Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice is seeking an experienced paralegal to join our Insurance Coverage team with a specific focus on general liability and institutional abuse claims.
The team is a highly collaborative and supportive team, and the successful applicant will work closely with Partners' Hannah Jankiewicz, Emma Dawes, Peter McGrath and the lawyers in the team.
**About the role**
This role presents a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leading team of lawyers. You will provide exceptional paralegal support to the team and assist with the day to day running of files with supervision and mentoring from senior members of the team
On any given day you will be responsible for:
- conducting extensive document reviews;
- drafting detailed chronologies,
- redacting documents for discovery;
- drafting Court documents; and
- performing other administrative tasks as required.

To be successful in this role you will have prior experience as a litigation paralegal working in private practice on matters relating to personal injury, general liability / institutional abuse or WorkCover.
You are hardworking, dedicated and possess a high level of integrity when dealing with clients and colleagues. A high level of client service is expected as are excellent organisation, written and oral communication skills.
