We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our team on an ongoing basis. The role will be based at Sydney Academy of Sport and the successful applicant will be required to work from the site.

**About the role**

As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the management of the Sydney Academy of Sport and effectively lead daily operations ensuring high standards of service are delivered through Centre programs and services. You will support each internal business unit to function optimally within the Office’s policy frameworks and legislative and regulatory requirements.

**About you**

You will be a values-based leader to Office of Sport staff and stakeholders in delivering high quality services, programs and activities which improve access and participation in sport and recreation programs for the community. You will manage the effective and efficient functioning of the Centre, ensuring that staffing requirements, resources, operational hours, and facility availabilities across a range of services are commensurate with demand.

As the Operations Manager you will communicate and lead the team with confidence, collaboration and respect. You have the ability to manage a high volume of work and can balance competing priorities. You can deal effectively with change and work well with others. You have a customer service focus, a strong work ethic and are willing to be ‘hands on’ when required.

You have a current Class C Drivers licence.

**Pre-screening questions**
