**Role Summary**:
The I&C Technical Officer is an opportunity based at our Cockburn Power Station site. The objective of the role is to carry high technical and supervisory activities associated with the operation and maintenance of the site shared service and the Cockburn Combined Cycle Power Station.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Plan, supervise/coordinate or carry out activities, associated with manufacture, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance/repair of equipment and systems as required.
- Carry out technical inspection, prepare reports with recommendations and/or arrange necessary action as well as have the ability to effectively communicate across the levels within the organisation and the ability to articulate operational and technical information
- Manage maintenance outage projects in accordance with budget, to time targets whilst maintaining quality standards.
- Supervise, monitor performance, coordinate, and check works carried out by staff, contractors, and consultants.
- Prepare/check/assess/coordinate designs, calculations, estimates, sketches, specifications/tenders, working drawings and schedules, aswell as prepare budgets for maintenance of plan.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Certificate IV or above in relevant discipline
- A Electrical, Instrument or dual trade certificate
- WA Electrical Workers License
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Power Station operation and/or maintenance experience including Gas Turbine and Combined Cycle systems or process plant
- Technical knowledge with advanced process control skills, Control System upkeep, maintenance, and modification
