About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Investigator to join our team at the Department of Fire and Emergency Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, conducting, and delivering high-level investigations into staff misconduct matters and discipline management services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement integrity standards across all areas of DFES in accordance with the Public Sector Commissioner's Instructions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of fraud and corruption control activities, integrity capability building activities, and the DFES Integrity Framework.
- Coordinate the development and delivery of training requirements in relation to all areas of integrity, Code of Conduct, Accountable and Ethical Decision Making.
- Assist the Director Professional Standards with the assessment, management, and reporting of integrity risks relating to conflict of interest, secondary employment, and gifts, benefits, and hospitality.
What We Offer:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $120,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits.
