Aberfoyle Hub Veterinary Clinic is looking for a part-time Practice Manager to join our team. Aberfoyle Hub Veterinary Clinic is located in the southern hills-face zone suburb of Aberfoyle Park - a fantastic location whatever your interests. Leafy and green, with wineries, National Parks, Flinders University and Medical Centre, beaches and Westfield Marion all within 15 minutes’ drive, and just 20km from the city, it is a great place to live and work.

Hub Vets is a relationship-based clinic, and has been providing caring, family-friendly veterinary services at the highest level to companion animals and their owners since 1999. We come to work to do what we enjoy doing - making a difference to the lives of animals and the people who care for them. We value each other and our relationships, we are excited by all things new and doing a better job, and we like a fun, friendly and supportive place to work.

With an established core of committed and lovely clients, we have a team of 4 experienced Veterinarians, ably supported by our 5 friendly Nurses and 2 Receptionists. We strive to promote a work-life balance for all staff with structured and consistent rosters. Our hours of business are currently 8am - 6pm Mon-Fri, and 8am - 12 noon Saturday, with after-hours attendance required only for patients currently in our care.

About the role:
We are seeking to appoint a part time Practice Manager as a leader and an integral member of the hospital management team. The Practice Manager partners with the Clinical Leader to provide a smooth and profitable operation by driving revenue and managing costs while creating a hospital culture based on high quality patient care and exceptional customer service through a high performing team.

The Practice Manager’s responsibility will be to oversee various aspects of the effective operations of the practice, including:

- Team and Business Leadership - working collaboratively at all levels to achieve clinic success, through planning, policy development, performance and training management, and staff acquisition/retention.
- Administrative tasks - rostering, compliance with record-keeping requirements, building maintenance and WHS.
- Financial responsibilities - managing accounts payable and receivable, banking reconciliations, budgeting and strategic directions.
- Client care duties - ensuring excellent client relationships and service through strategic client communication, local marketing efforts and social media, and complaint resolution.

Both training and support will be provided for that special person who brings the right skills and enthusiasm to the role. Previous experience of administrative, financial and/or human resource management in a patient-centred environment is not essential but would help you succeed. Certificate IV Veterinary Nurses are welcome to apply.
