Primary Connect is the most extensive food and retail supply chain network in Australia and New Zealand. Our 10,000-strong team are an essential part of the expansive Woolworths Group, which encompasses Woolworths Supermarkets and Metro stores, BIG W, Countdown NZ, Quantium, and more. **What you’ll do**
As a Systems and Process Specialist, you will support the planning and delivery of improvement initiatives that drive performance, build system capabilities, and develop the strategic ambitions of the business. This role offers flexible/hybrid working arrangements, and a Sydney-based applicant is preferable. At the heart of this role, you will have the drive and creative problem-solving skills to create solutions and advice on improvements in the Primary Connect sphere, focused on our core technology suite and operational processes. Reporting to the National Transport Systems Optimisation Manager, you will have the customer & end user as the focal point for improvements. You will be responsible for:
- Identify and deliver improvement initiatives across Primary Connect Plus (PC+’s) technology platforms to directly contribute to strategic objectives
- Deliver a prioritised CI program of works across the three functional pillars of PC+
- Develop business-led roadmaps that articulate improvements to technology functionality that will deliver improved customer and team outcomes
- Identify future capabilities to ensure Primary Connect is competitive and future-proof Provide frameworks for capability development, process design and improvement, and solutions to business challenges
**What you’ll bring**
To be successful in this role, you will be able to establish and build solid cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve a common purpose, to support in influencing and negotiation. You will be able to:
- Demonstrate your previous experience in a transport systems environment
- Engage in problem-solving & thinking outside the box
- Have strong communication (written, verbal & formal) & presentation skills
- Have a learning mindset and demonstrate a high level of drive, energy & resilience Change Management/ continuous improvement experience, ideally in FMGC, manufacturing or logistics background
