Our Sales location is looking for an engaging and motivated team player to join their growing Internal Sales Team. Our parent company, Metal Manufactures Limited, established in 1916, has become a large and diverse Australian company, with AWM Electrical & Data Suppliers as a vital part.

AWM Electrical rewards its staff through a generous profit-share scheme and great career progression opportunities. This is a permanent role with full time hours, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm and a Saturday 8am - 12pm every 6 weeks.

**The role**:

- Respond to general customer enquiries regarding pricing and product information.
- Process orders, purchase stock and assist with customer consignment.
- Actively stay connected with customers and build strong, long-term working relationships.
- Stock control as required, including assisting with re-stocking shelves and packing orders.

Rewards include a profit share bonus system, as well as ongoing training and career progression opportunities for long-term growth with the company.

This role is ideal for individuals with a background in trade & services or electrical and a strong customer service/sales focus who are eager to grow and succeed. If you are interested in joining a small team environment with opportunities for long-term career development, then continue reading.

**The requirements**:

- Sales/Customer Service background in trades/services, electrical supplier experience preferred. Electricians looking to make a move are encouraged to apply.
- A passion for customer service and sales.
- A confident engaging personality with a some sales / customer service experience.
- An engaging communication style - and enjoy speaking to others.
- The ability to identify and action opportunities for making additional sales.
- Great rapport and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong negotiation skills and an aptitude for numbers.
- The ability to work both autonomously and within a team.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Unrestricted Australian working rights as sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately).
