**About the Role**

The Support for Rural Specialists in Australia (SRSA) Program is aligned with the College’s objectives to support the training, lifelong learning and professional development of Australia’s physicians, including continuing professional development (CPD). SRSA provides grants directly to rural and remote non-GP specialists, allowing them to access high quality CPD and networking that suits their individual needs. The Program Officer provides administrative support to the SRSA Program Manager to assist with the management and delivery of the SRSA grants program. This role is a fixed-term part-time contract, ending in April 2024.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Assist in the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the SRSA Program.
- Assist in the development, improvement and implementation of effective and efficient administrative systems and procedures to deliver the annual grant program
- Develop communication and promotional materials about the program
- Provide comprehensive executive support including records and file management
- Provide high-level secretariat support including facilitating meetings, drafting of agendas, minutes, and correspondence
