**Join the team**
At Kmart Australia, are currently looking for an Operations Manager to be a part of our Merchandise Operations Group. As our Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining the quality of our critical systems, ensuring mínimal impact on our business, and enhancing our overall performance.

**What you’ll be doing**:
- Oversee the delivery of exceptional support services to technology groups, minimising the impact of incidents/issues, identifying and correcting the underlying root cause to prevent recurrence.- Provide leadership to technical teams to support technical delivery to the business.- Contribute to overall technology and strategic direction to ensure that engineering interests are considered and included.

**To be successful in the role you’ll have**:
- Demonstrated experience leading a support services group with a focus on continuous improvement.- A problem-solving mindset and excellent critical thinking skills.- The ability to understand complex technology problems and translate concepts for a broader audience.- A history of effectively managing relevant third-party providers.- The ability to help create and execute an IT operations strategy.-
- Proficiency in effective reporting, risk management, and issue resolution.- A background in being the escalation point for major production issues.
