About the Opportunity
The eCommerce Manager - Trade is responsible for the effective design, delivery and optimisation of trading activity on the Dan Murphy’s eCommerce site to support category strategies. They leverage insights to make effective and informed decisions around on-site discovery and conversion journeys, working cross functionally to build greater understanding of online performance & influence decision making regarding the omni-channel go to market plans, in order to deliver the maximum value for the business.
A day in the life of an eCommerce Manager - Dan Murphy's
Manage the design and delivery of site content in collaboration with marketing content and merchandising teams to deliver outcomes, look/feel and overall quality, currency and relevance of digital experience to bring strategies to life.
Manage all day to day digital administration, end to end workflows and governance for the eCommerce trade plan including catalogue, campaign execution and customer journey, merchandising and promotional activity.
Effectively manage stakeholder relationships in conjunction with other departments, respond to briefs to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Leverage data and insights to identify opportunities to continually optimise campaign and category user journeys to maximum sales & profit through the online channel.
Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables.
Ensure that work within the team is proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.
Perform thorough testing on all site related changes to ensure a seamless customer experience
Manage ongoing training and use of functionality.
Partner with EndeavourX and GEM to inform roadmap, requirements and business priorities.
Lead and Inspire the broader eCommerce team by role modelling the Dan Murphy’s Values and Ways of Working.
Communicate and build team commitment to business strategies and create alignment, direction and role clarity.
Develop and empower your team to work end to end together, creating a customer first team culture.
What you’ll need to succeed
4+ years experience experience in eCommerce trading management responsible for driving commercial outcomes
1-3 years of detailed task planning and execution experience
Degree in Business or Technology preferred
A passion for delivering great customer experiences
Experience across all areas of retail function highly regarded - marketing, merchandising, customer service and logistics
An understanding of UX/UI design fundamentals and best practice
Web analytics and site reporting skills that drive insights and recommendations, as well as commercial acumen
Experience managing small to medium scale projects
