- 8+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- Demonstrated history of creating scalable mechanisms and best practices.
- Can effectively communicate to broad and diverse audiences (e.g. senior leaders, experts in the field, and industry analysts) and drive discussions with Senior Leaders, VPs, across orgs and/or external companies.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Principal Solution Architect to work with our Enterprise and other AWS teams to craft cloud-based solutions for our large, strategic customers..

Remember, this is a client facing role so you must be comfortable talking with CIOs, CTOs and CISOs. It goes without saying that you must have experience in architecting infrastructure solutions coupled with the ability to communicate that to senior business and industry stakeholders.
Combine this with a baseline knowledge of or even certification in AWS and this role is made for you
Key job responsibilities
Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS
Own each technical engagement, and help ensure a timely and successful delivery of value. (delivery of actual solutions to be done by AWS partners)
Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS

- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Knowledge of solutions used in Supply Chain and/or Retail.
