**The Opportunity**

The Head of Clinical Informatics will lead the conceptualisation and creation of the clinical informatics team's structure, composition, processes, responsibilities, and way of working, with the goal of establishing a robust and mature informatics capability that will support all clinical digital initiatives across Ramsay. Once the team is established, the role will evolve to place greater emphasis on planning, organising, directing, evaluating, and enhancing the clinical informatics efforts and activities at Ramsay throughout the continuum of care.

**The clinical informatics team at Ramsay will**:

- Take responsibility for providing or enabling clinical input, perspective, and advice, as well as ensuring sufficient and representative clinical participation (as required) in all digital initiatives with clinical impacts.
- Provide assistance to all clinical disciplines, including medical, nursing, pharmacy, and allied health.

**What You Will Bring**
- Senior clinical informatics leader with 10+ years of experience and ideally currently practicing/registered.
- CHIA certification or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Experience developing, representing, and leading clinical informatics teams and networks, ideally at organisational or regional level.
- Skilled in building partnerships with management, staff, and stakeholders to achieve not only department goals and objectives, but the objectives of the organisation.
- Passionate about continuously improving and providing high-quality care and service excellence to patients, families, employees, and clinicians.
- Proven track record of driving successful performance outcomes and achieving organisational goals.

**Desirable**
- Experience in or applicable knowledge of working with clinical data and technology to enhance and improve clinical operations and care delivery.
- Capable of analysing and interpreting data.
- Ability to cultivate strong, enduring, and trusting relationships.
- Proficient in nurturing the development of cohesive teams.
- Skilled at devising new and innovative solutions for complex and varied problems and situations while considering the broader perspective or context.
