**About Psychology**
- This position is based in the Allied Health Division in close collaboration with the Psychology Department and the VSCS. The Psychology Department leads and excels in research, teaching and the use of person-centred evidence-based practice. As a team of clinical psychologists and clinical neuropsychologists based in General Health, we work with a range of medical specialists and allied health professionals collaborating to achieve the best possible patient outcomes. We are a dedicated team who value connection and collaboration and provide a supportive environment to learn and develop.

**About the role**
- We have an exciting opportunity for a senior allied health professional (Grade 3) to provide project leadership on a Transport Accident Commission (TAC) funded project in the VSCS. The project will implement and evaluate the impact of positive behaviour support in assisting staff and patients with behaviours of concern and emotional distress. Working with key stakeholders in the Departments of Psychology, the Victorian Spinal Cord Service (VSCS) and Monash University, the Project Lead will ensure successful delivery of project and research outcomes. The position will also support education, capacity building and system improvement to achieve the highest quality innovative and evidence-based service provision.
- This is a part time (15.2 hours per week), 12 month fixed term position. We offer a supportive environment including supervision and professional development opportunities.
- A regular day will see you:

- Working collaboratively with VSCS clinicians, clinical leaders, TAC and research team to deliver all aspects of the project;
- Monitoring, documenting and reporting of project performance, including budget, key deliverables and research outputs.
- Support quality improvement and research aspects of the project such as data collection and analysis as relevant.
- Support dissemination of project impacts internally and externally, including being part of conference presentations, reports and/or research publications.

**About you**
- To be successful in this role you will have:

- An allied health qualification and current registration with the relevant Professional Board or eligibility for membership with the relevant Professional Association.
- Experience in project management within a hospital or community health setting.
- Project management skills including ability to forward plan, monitor performance and project risks.
- High level interpersonal skills that promote teamwork and engagement.
