- Ambulatory Services is an arm of the Access, Critical Care, Imaging and Ambulatory Services (ACIA) Division.- Ambulatory Services encompasses the clinics areas of Specialist Clinics, Hospital in the Home (HIHT) / Virtual Care (VC) and Ambulatory Care Centre (ACC) and provides outpatient services to over 300,000 patients per year. Ambulatory Services is a pivotal patient flow leaver for the organisation, enabling patients to transition their care from the inpatient setting to an outpatient model.**Ambulatory Services Reform Project Lead role**:
- The Ambulatory Services Reform Project Lead role is a newly created position, to assist the business to deliver on the strategic priorities of the Department of Health initiated Patient Support Unit (PSU) which encompasses; Outpatient Preparation List Auditing, Pathway Re-design and enabling the Planned Surgery Blueprint Reform, pertaining to Ambulatory Services.-
- A regular day will see you:
- Collaborate with a wide variety of teams in order to deliver service improvement
- Reporting the strategic objectives of the PSU
- Identifying opportunities and implementing change to support the Blueprint Reform principles
- Project planning and execution
**About you**
- As the Ambulatory Service Reform Project Lead you will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work, and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.- To be successful in this role, you'll bring with you:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with data collection, analysis and the ability to engage staff to utilise data in meaningful ways to initiate change
- Self motivation
- A collaborative approach
- Experience with leading projects
