We are looking for DataStage Tech Leads with solid hands on heavy on
**DataStage **experience with exceptional interpersonal skills to join our team to work with one of our top-tier Banking/ Finance and Insurance clients. The role is to work in a dynamic and innovative environment and to engage and communicate with a variety of stakeholder groups across business and technology teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using DataStage.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data processing tasks.
- Develop and maintain data integration standards, best practices, and methodologies.
- Perform code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and drive continuous improvement.
- Implement data quality measures and perform data validation to ensure data integrity.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing ETL processes for performance and efficiency.
- Work closely with various data teams, data architects, database developers, and business analysts to ensure seamless integration of data solutions.

**Your Technical Skills and experience**:

- 5+ Years of proven experience as a Tech Lead (DataStage).
- 4+ years as a Data Integration practitioner.
- Solid hands-on experience in using IBM DataStage (must have).
- Understand DataStage clustering architecture and parallel jobs.
- Intimate knowledge in combine/sort/aggregate/transform data.
- Experience creating reusable objects and job templates.
- Schedule, compile, and run DataStage jobs efficiently.
- UNIX scripting, FTP and basic network principles.
- Skills in database and data warehouse design principles.
- Strong SQL Coding and querying skills.
- Strong understanding of ETL principles, data warehousing, and database concepts.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Experience with data modelling and database design.
- Experience in Data Migration.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
