**The Role**

Reporting to the Team Manager Capability & Enablement, the Capability Consultant (12-month fixed contract) is responsible for ensuring quality, relevance, and consistency in the delivery of Learning and Development initiatives that uplifts capability and supports an exceptional customer experience across Claims.

As part of your role, you will lead the uplift of skills and capability of the Claims business unit by providing a professional learning experience, including the consistent use of resources and materials that enhance participant learning. You will review IDP, QA, skills survey and other data to identify the learning and development needs of the claims teams and align these to the MLC Life Insurance strategy and business priorities.

In addition, you will lead through change by committing to and championing new initiatives and positively inspiring people to adopt new and better ways of working.

**About You**

Ideally, you have 3+ years insurance experience including knowledge of legislation and regulations affecting the life industry.

You demonstrate experience in Learning and Development in a best practice environment as well as working in a highly collaborative environment.

Cert IV in Training and Assessment highly desirable.

Experience in eLearn design and development (Articulate Rise and Storyline in particular)

You are a customer orientated individual and have obtained Tertiary qualifications (desirable but not essential)
