We are looking for an experienced Accounts & Admin Assistant to join our team in our **MELBOURNE **office.

To be successful in this role, you will come from a general accounting, bookkeeping and office administration background with sound Receivable and Payable experience. You will have efficient keyboard skills for accurate data entry, you will be an intermediate user of Excel and have thorough knowledge and strict adherence to company policies. You will be someone who applies a continuous improvement lens to all that you do and as a result you take responsibility for the appropriate scheduling of activities to meet end of day processing deadlines.

In order to be considered for this role, you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths:
**Personal Attributes**:

- Experience in financial accounting and administration
- Strong numeracy, computer and excel skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- High level attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong customer service

**Key Responsibilities**

**Accounts**:

- Management of debtors / creditors
- Manage bank deposits and reconciliations
- Ensure client statements are sent and payments are received in a timely manner
- Manage creditor statements, reconciliation, and payments against credit terms
- Report on accounts receivable / payables
- Identify and address discrepancies in billing / Data entry
- Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
- Data entry of invoices into general ledger
- Freight Forwarding experience is a plus

**Administration**:

- Order and keep control of office supplies and maintenance requests
- Support manager with any ad-hoc requests

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
