**Mahlab Communications & PR** is now looking for an Account Coordinator | Executive to join our growing team. This role would suit someone who has recently graduated, or has up to 12 months experience and is now looking to take that next step in their career.

**We are headquartered in Sydney with teams in Melbourne, Auckland and Singapore.**

**This role is based in Sydney,** where you will be required to work across multiple disciplines within communications, such as social media, thought leadership, ambassador and influencer engagement, media relations and creative. The role offers the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills and learn from the best in the industry.

You’ll get the opportunity to work with clients across corporate, healthcare, technology and sustainability companies and associations such as Zoom, Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators, Australia Human Resource Institute (AHRI), Figma and LinkedIn.

You will work with experts who will provide you with the training, support and guidance on your role and responsibilities.
**These include**:

- Account and client management including reporting, social listening, and keeping track of client and account activity
- Keeping across the news and relevant industries to flag content or social media opportunities
- Media relations such as media monitoring, drafting pitches, pitching to media and creating/ managing media lists for PR activity and building relationship with journalists where relevant
- Working closely with design and production teams to ensure assets and content created meet the brief
- Supporting team members with the research on campaign briefs and market trends and brainstorming ideas for integrated campaigns
- Having a good understanding of social media practices, processes and platforms and influencer mining and mapping
- Execution of social media programs for regional clients and tracking campaign performance
- Copywriting (long and short form)

**What you will need**:

- Relevant degree in communications or marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- An avid consumer of content, news and trends
- Curiosity - you’re a constant learner
- Be adaptable and flexible
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities
