Position Title**:Graduate Attraction and Recruitment Lead**
Position Purpose
We are currently in a highly competitive, evolving market where what’s worked in the past is no longer effective. This team needs to think outside the box, look outside the industry and be prepared to take risks, learn and adapt quickly to find solutions that will set us apart from the competition and enable us to become famous for developing early careers at Healthscope.
Key Accountabilities
Primary Activities:
- Conduct research to understand the competitive environment and external factors influencing employee attraction decisions, to identify key insights, recommendations and approaches for Healthscope
- Stay abreast of key graduate organisations/institutions/providers (eg AAGE, Grad Australia, Australian College of Nursing, key education providers), build relationships and determine where to best focus attraction efforts
- Develop relationships across our sites and with State Nursing Educators that allow us to understand centrally what local attraction practices are taking place
- Conduct resourcing needs analysis briefings with State Nursing Educators to understand current and future workforce planning requirements, and map target audiences
- Develop and manage Healthscope-wide graduate key messages that make up our Employer Value Proposition (EVP)
- Develop, test and support the rollout of marketing campaigns nationally, acting as an advisor to State Nursing Educators and their respective hospitals
- Develop and rollout a consultation plan with sites that sets out clear plans, actions, details for the next 12 months of attraction activities (e.g. campaign plans, timing)
- Develop and manage a national plan for Healthscope presence at physical education provider events (expos, careers fairs) and online channels
- Plan, design, coordinate and deliver Healthscope virtual and physical graduate expos and open days
- Coordinate coverage across careers fair events with appropriate Healthscope advocates/SMEs
- Maintain a register of prospective graduates and communicate upcoming opportunities
- Coordinate external announcements with our Marketing team on online channels such as LinkedIn for Healthscope
- Support the development and review of success measures to ensure alignment with wider Healthscope objectives and achievement of anticipated benefits
- Oversee ongoing communications from the Marketing/Corporate Affairs team with undergraduate talent captured through engagement activities and student placements

Experience for Success
- Relevant experience managing a major program or HR project
- Strong Graduate Recruitment/Talent Acquisition experience
- Influencing senior stakeholders to create change
- Working for a healthcare provider (desirable)
Knowledge for Success
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry in Australia
- Knowledge of the employment landscape in Australia
- Strong understanding of the attraction and recruitment of graduate processes and practices
Qualifications for Success
Mandatory:
- 5+ years’ experience working in Talent Acquisition, preferably in graduate recruitment
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing projects in a complex environment
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field (e.g. HR, Marketing, and/or Clinical Nursing qualifications)
Desirable:
- Specific experience in Healthcare attraction and recruitment processes is ideal, but not essential
