**Responsibilities**
- ** Financial Reporting**:

- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely consolidated financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
- Coordinate the financial reporting process, collaborating with subsidiary finance teams and ensuring adherence to SEC regulations.
- ** Audit Management**:

- Lead the annual external audit process, ensuring efficient and timely completion.
- Serve as the main liaison between the company and external auditors, addressing queries and facilitating a smooth audit.
- ** Internal Controls and Compliance**:

- Implement and monitor internal controls in line with SOX requirements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, reporting, and disclosure obligations.
- ** Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Manage the group budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with business units to develop accurate and achievable financial plans.
- ** Tax Compliance**:

- Oversee the preparation of federal and state tax filings, working closely with tax advisors to optimize the company's tax position.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- ** Cash Flow Management**:

- Monitor and manage the group's cash flow, optimizing working capital and liquidity.
- Implement strategies to enhance cash management efficiency.
- ** Financial Analysis and Strategy**:

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support executive management in strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to evaluate and implement financial strategies for business growth.
- ** Team Leadership**:

- Supervise and mentor a team of 2 finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.

**Profile**
- CA qualified
- ** Experience working in a listed environment, or a group reporting function (experience preparing consolidated statutory accounts)**:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Someone who is energetic and wants to get involved in the business
- Exposure to lodging tax returns would be advantageous
