About the role:
The Quotation Officer will be responsible for supporting Commercial Sales teams nationally by providing competitive commercial quotes, predominantly in Front of Wall (FOW) Plumbing and Appliances, which add value to the business and meet customer expectations. Working as part of our Builder’s Solutions team, you’ll engage with suppliers and work with external providers to develop product offers which represent value and support the provision of best service to commercial customers.

What's involved:

- Work with the Commercial Sales and Builders Services (BST) teams to deliver accurate, timely, profitable and market competitive complex quotes within agreed timeframes
- Provide value for customers including reducing costs, while aiming to maximise our margins
- Identify Whole of Build (WOB) opportunities while quoting and providing solutions for our customers, in line with our WOB strategy
- Use initiative to be involved in improving current processes and innovating new ideas to promote continuous improvement as a business
- Follow up when required to achieve optimal opportunity at converting quote to an order and action customer feedback to continue the customer relationship
- Work with our CRM system to ensure plan/opportunities and timely feedback is maintained through one central point
- Provide other administrative support to the Commercial Sales and Service teams as required including the creation of ad hoc spreadsheets and other documents
- Liaise with suppliers to develop range of product offers for our commercial customers

Who we’re looking for:
You’ll need:

- A basic understanding of the front of wall plumbing and appliance range of products would be desirable.
- Intermediate Excel skills
- 2+ years commercial industry experience
- Ability to read construction plans would be desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in the construction field would be highly desirable
- Sound computer and software experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge in gathering and analysis of costing and financial data
- Strong stakeholder management with the ability to interpret, understand, and articulate detailed solutions for a wide audience
- An understanding of construction and retail industries will be advantageous
