**About the Role**
**This is a Fixed Term Opportunity until 31 December 2024**
The Business Improvement Lead is expected to take on complex improvement projects spanning across multiple groups as well as external partners to DTP. While you will provide analytical capability to understand inefficiencies and deliver productivity improvements through business process redesign, it is key for this role to coach and educate members from the business on these tools to create a sustainable improvement mindset across the organization.

**Position Outcomes / Accountabilities**
- Identify new and emerging continuous improvement opportunities improve workflows at DTP.
- Deliver complex continuous improvement projects.
- Prepare executive reports and presentations for key stakeholders.
- Influence senior stakeholders towards decision making utilising data and advanced expertise.
- Effectively collaborate and engage stakeholder cooperation and involvement at senior level.
**Key Selection Criteria**
If you're well-versed in Lean Six Sigma or a similar methodology, your demonstrated expertise will help contribute to driving positive change. We will value your strong background in Change Management and ability to overcome barriers and garner support through effective influencing skills. Your excellent project management abilities will be put to the test in a dynamic environment, where achieving meaningful goals amidst competing priorities is key.
We are looking for a professional with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with executive stakeholders across diverse divisions and external organizations. Your knack for initiating continuous improvement initiatives will shine as you identify opportunities to enhance processes and procedures, expediting business outcomes. Bring your conceptual, planning, analytical, and reporting skills to the table, demonstrating your capacity to analyse issues, identify risks, and implement robust mitigation solutions.
Additionally, your experience in building mutually beneficial partnerships with senior stakeholders, coupled with the ability to influence decision-making within leadership groups, will be instrumental in achieving optimal outcomes for DTP.
**Qualifications and Experience**
**Mandatory**
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Qualification in Project Management including traditional and agile methodologies.
- Qualification in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodology e.g. Green Belt certification, Black Belt training / certification.
**Desirable**
- Previous experience in internal or external consulting practices would be beneficial.
- Exposure to process automation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to support future process innovation strategies.
- People management, mentoring, or coaching experience.
