We are looking for highly motivated labourers to join our team and take on a variety of tasks across the 16kms of the Parramatta Light Rail Project

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Housekeeping and environmental actions (cleaning the site, graffiti removal, picking up rubbish, sweeping and mopping floors**,** refilling the toilet rolls, etc.)
- General labouring including sign installation, heavy lifting, and manual handling, repairs of fences and ground penetrations (holes in the ground)
- Spotting mobile plant operators, filling of trucks with diesel, and any other ad hoc duties as requested.
- Previous work experience in construction or on the rail network
- Standard PPE for the rail industry
- The ability and confidence to use basic hand and power tools
- Strong adherence to OH & S policies and procedures onsite
- A team player attitude, reliability, and commitment

**Required tickets and licences**:

- OH & S white card
- Rail Safety Worker (RSW), RISI, RIW ticket
- Current CAT 3 Medical
- Minimum C Class Licence

Pegasus Induction/Card is _highly regarded but not required_

**What's in it for you?**
- $35 p/hr + Super + OT Penalties

- 6.45 am - 3pm + OT as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Morning shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Do you have the required PPE for the rail industry? (Orange hi vis with reflective X on the back, steel cap boots, hard hat, safety glasses, long pants, etc)
- Are you prepared to undertake tasks such as sweeping and mopping sheds, cleaning stations including potter loos, refilling toilet paper rolls, driving tipper from station to station, etc.? Are there tasks that you don't like to do?

**Experience**:

- Rail or Construction: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- White Card (required)
- C class licence (required)
- Rail Ticket (RIW/RISI/RSW) (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
