This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. We are looking for someone to start ASAP on a 3-month contract paying $850 p/d + Super located in Parramatta.

**About the Role**

We are currently seeking to appoint a Planning Manager with a leading NSW Government agency. The role provides planning leadership, guidance and expertise to deliver a range of multi-modal integrated network and place plans for NSW Government.

Key accountabilities include:

- Lead the provision of advice, analysis and manage the preparation, review and finalisation of planning documents
- Lead and Manage multi-modal planning projects and reporting
- Manage project teams of professional/technical staff
- Drive collaboration with specialist teams and mentor professional/technical resources for continuous improvements
- Develop and manage key relationships within NSW government and external stakeholders.
- Provide critical analysis on NSW government related issues to senior and executive management and communicate recommended actions to mitigate potential risks

- Ability to work effectively with other staff in a team environment
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Adhere to government policies and practices
- Demonstrated ability to proactively manage workload and to work independently
