**About the role**:
A fantastic opportunity to join Box Hill Institute as our Student Scholarship Officer

As part of our Student Life Team, the Student Scholarship Officer is responsible for managing and administering the Institute’s portfolio of internal Access and Equity scholarship funds and third party scholarship funds.

You will have the opportunity to manage the scholarship program and identify areas for growth as well as improving the donor and recipient experience. Building relationships with donors, recipients and educational faculty members will play a large part in your role; as well as working collaboratively with your team and all stakeholders across Box Hill Institute.

As the Student Scholarship Officer, your responsibilities will also consist of reporting, coordination of the financial aspects of the scholarship agreements and process management.

Your strong written and verbal communication skills will be paramount in this role as you promote the scholarship program to students, staff and stakeholders, creating awareness of the program via internal and external marketing channels.
- Please note; this role is a casual opportunity, 30 hours (0.8 FTE) per week until November 2023._
- The hourly rate for this role is $44.13._

**About You**:

- Extensive demonstrated experience working within scholarship administration (within an educational environment would be advantageous)
- Relevant qualification in office administration, book keeping or finance (desirable)
- High level communication skills; ability to communicate complex information in a clear manner to a variety of audiences
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet reporting deadlines
- Demonstrated experience in building partnerships with stakeholders including staff and students
- Ability to work within a team; collaborate to achieve goals
- High level administration experience and ability to be accountable for own workload
- Experience in successful promotion of scholarship programs via marketing platforms
