**Our vet clinic in the beautiful suburb of Hawthorn is looking for a Receptionist to join our team**

We are seeking a dedicated and positive individual who possesses exceptional organisation skills, a knack for communication, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. As the Receptionist, you will be at the forefront of our clinic, welcoming patients and their owners with a warm and friendly demeanor.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet clients and their pets with a smile, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere from the moment they step into the clinic.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar, ensuring efficient utilisation of time and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of patients, including their medical history and any special requirements.
- Coordinate with the veterinary team to ensure smooth patient flow and timely completion of procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, providing information, and offering support during challenging situations.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as billing, invoicing, and maintaining inventory.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, making them feel valued and appreciated.
- Collaborate closely with the clinic team, including veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff, to ensure seamless operations.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a medical or veterinary setting.
- Outstanding organisational and multitasking abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and empathetically.
- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to interact effectively with clients, team members, and external stakeholders.
- A genuine passion for animals and a desire to improve their well-being.
- Confident in using computer systems, including appointment scheduling software and electronic medical records.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities with ease.
- Ability to work across our opening hours of 8am-6:30pm Monday-Friday and 8am-1pm Saturdays preferred
