**About the role**

The role of the TAFE teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the education process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.

**About You**

You are closely involved with the industry and maintain your industry connections. You keep abreast of current industry requirements and have a willingness to continue to obtain industry knowledge. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to share information with your students through face to face and connected learning platforms. You are technologically savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office and Autodesk Revit Software.

**To be considered for the role you will have**:

- Diploma (or above) in Building Design
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent
- Minimum of three years post-qualification experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously
- Prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.

**Highly Regarded **- Proficiency in use of Autodesk Revit Software.
