Great opportunity to work close to home for private specialist practice, Heidelberg, with parking provided. Our client seeks an experienced Specialist Medical Receptionist 2 days per week, with the ability to cover in times of heavier demand is preferable. Hours are: 8.30 am - 5.00pm

This professional group of specialist physicians provide patients with the highest level of expertise in a supportive and caring environment. Being involved with the front of house, the successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, have strong attention to detail and assist patients in a prompt and courteous manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reception duties
- Meet & greet patients upon arrival.
- Answering phones
- Verifying Medicare/health insurance details
- Completing patient invoicing and Medicare claims
- Booking patient appointments
- Obtaining results & maintaining accurate patient records
- Use of Genie software on Apple Mac

**Essential Criteria**:

- Highly organised
- Computer literate
- Able to work independently & part of a team.
- Knowledge of Genie on Apple Mac
- Previous medical rooms experience essential.
