**This is your role. What part will you play?**

Reporting to the Sales and Tendering Commercial Manager, this role has it's main mission of managing all relevant bid tasks in commercial bid management areas, supporting effective, profitable business and accountable management in assigned area of responsibility. This strategic and interesting opportunity includes the complete delivery (EPC) portion onshore for the Communications Based Train Control system (CBTC), together with a (long term) full maintenance offer.

**Your new role - challenging and future-oriented**

**Responsibilities**:

- You will be responsible for all commercial/financial bid activities for the assigned tender/bids, within Siemens Mobility portfolio and relevant for sales region Australia and New Zealand.
- You will determine the business model, taking into account the tax requirements.
- In this context, you will prepare the commercial aspects of the calculation and costing (incl. cost indexation) and clarify foreign currency, tax, bond, shipping and insurance issues and coordinate these with the specialist departments.
- As essential part of the commercial bid team (assigned to above mentioned bid), you will coordinate and organize bid activities from financial, accounting, contractual and commercial point of view, within the scope of the applicable business processes for sales and bidding.
- In this sense you will prepare and present bids to involved management levels in our headquarter, regional and local management, in line with our internal management approval (Limit of Authority) process
- You will proactively manage risks and opportunities during the bidding phase, thus laying the foundation for successful project execution in the event of an order.

**Use your skills to move the world forward**
- You have a degree in economics (Bachelor) or a comparable qualification.
- You already have several years of commercial experience in a project-driven environment, ideally also in a sales position.
- In addition, you have sound experience in (project) controlling and (project) reporting.
