**About the role**
As a key member of the Performance team within the Operations group, the Network Performance Manager will be responsible for creating and embedding a continuous improvement culture across the business to support Operations achieve crucial cross-divisional key performance indicators. This role will manage and execute medium
- and long-term projects, while also monitoring and addressing immediate operational needs as they come through.
- Key Accountabilities include:_
- Support the achievement of continuous improvement objectives and V/Line daily performance review process.
- Collect, analyse and establish trending patterns for train performance data.
- Analyse the performance success of initiatives, identify key learnings and assess the impact of changes on performance, reliability and customer experience.
- Identify, lead and manage change in line with business objectives, driving performance improvement across operational and technical departments with V/Line.
- Effective management of cross-functional project teams.
- Identify barriers to improvement and generate solutions to address them.
- Lead communication forums to identify, reduce and eliminate causes of delays to the network and improve cross-functional interdependencies.
- Support and drive the effective communication of performance across the business including group performance results, initiatives and challenges to all employees.
- Regularly report to the Executive on network performance demonstrating a clear understanding of performance while identifying opportunities for improvement using Microsoft Power BI and other analytics platforms.
**About you**
You will be able to demonstrate your skills in interpreting, translating and presenting complex data to support effective decision-making across all levels of the business. You foster a culture of continuous improvement within your team and the business units that you support, encouraging innovative approaches to business performance challenges. Your autonomous and accountable working style will see you liaise with and influence key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts with ease.
- You have a keen eye for data and excel at identifying performance improvement initiatives.
- Your solid experience with the Microsoft Office suite, including Teams, SharePoint, and PowerPoint, complements your strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You can influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and are comfortable presenting key findings.
- Prior experience leading change that has organisational impact.
- Demonstrated experience managing and coordinating projects with cross-functional teams.
- Skilled in creating controlled documents and presentations, including case studies and presentation packs.
- You bring valuable experience in operations, asset maintenance, or similar environments, and have a passion for learning about rail operations.

Remuneration for this role will align with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administrative Employees Agreement 2023, offering a salary range of $134,994 to $143,557 (inclusive of superannuation), based on experience.
