**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**

Working as a Major Incident Manager, this role is pivotal within the specialised service management arena. Coordinating and managing major incidents that have a significant impact on services. Develop incident response plans, coordinate incident response efforts among multiple service providers, allocate resources effectively as well as providing exceptional stakeholder management. Investigate major incidents, manage escalations, and interface with Problem Managers to identify issues. Monitor incident resolution progress, conduct post-incident reviews, and drive continuous improvement. This role will play a major part in providing effective incident management leadership within Kinetic Its high profile account.

Your role will sit at a national level and involve some of the following areas:
The accountabilities for this role will include:

- Develop a tactical plan for implementing and executing the Major Incident process. Including the process documentation is comprehensive, up-to-date, and easily accessible to stakeholders.
- Central point of coordination and communication in the event of a Major Incident, working closely with multiple service providers to facilitate effective incident response, communication, and resolution.
- Monitor progress of Major Incident resolution, tracking milestones, validating resolution actions, and ensuring that service providers adhere to agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs) and targets.
- Work closely with Problem Managers to identify any recurring or underlying issues associated with Major Incidents, ensuring that problems are documented, analysed, and addressed through the Problem Management process.
- Conduct post-incident reviews.
- Support the effective execution of the Incident Management process

- Proven track record managing Major Incident Management in an enterprise-scale, ITIL-aligned IT Service Management environment.
- Any ITIL qualification to support the SIAM as well as SIAM foundation would be highly desirable.
