**Your opportunity**

Reporting to the Risk and Safety Manager, you’ll play a significant role in coordination, liaison and support on risk and safety matters to leaders, staff, and services across the organisation.

You will coordinate functions of our organisational risk management framework, WHS management systems, organisational strategy, and regulatory obligations.

You will join a small but impactful Risk and Safety team that is well established and recognised by our internal stakeholders, and which is deeply committed to supporting our Team Leaders and Managers.

**In this role you will**:

- Work collaboratively with others to encourage culture of risk-based decision making, risk awareness and ownership throughout LLW.
- Coordination and liaison of strategic, organisational, operational and WHS risks.
- Supporting the evaluation, tracking, and reporting on risk and safety activities.
- Coordinate risk and safety enquiries, risk assessment, evaluation, treatment and monitoring activities, risk and safety audits, incidents & investigations, reports, and records to support the organisation’s compliance and risk appetite.
- Support the implementation and co-ordination of risk and safety mitigation programs and initiatives across LLW in accordance with Risk Enterprise Framework and organisational systems and processes.
- Coordination and support of risk management system project delivery.
- Coordinate, monitor, review and record risk and safety strategy and systems.
- Data analysis and trend reporting.
- Provide support as required to the risk and safety team.

LLW is a geographically dispersed organisation delivering clinical services across multiple sites within Australia.

We are flexible with the work location of this role. The position can be based in Burleigh, Logan, Brisbane, or other with negotiation.

The total salary package for this role is comprised of a base salary in the range of $85K, plus salary packaging, superannuation, leave loading (17.5%), and 5 additional days of paid Wellbeing Leave.

- You’ll be able to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team and are resourceful to find ways to get the job done.
- You’ll have the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise effectively and problem solve.
- You are confident, resourceful, and able to communicate effectively within a geographically dispersed organisation (more than 50 locations).
- Good computer, administrative and reporting skills.
