We are seeking a School Officer Formation and Mission to advance the religious life of the school community and provide faith, spiritual and pastoral support to students. You will work with the Assistant to the Principal - Religious Education, to empower young people to utilise their gifts and talents and provide faith development opportunities.
There will be further responsibilities in the support of our First Nation students, including enacting elements of our College's Reconciliation Action plan.

**Duties include**:

- Support of the APRE with all aspects of the Religious Life of the College, consisting of but not limited to masses, liturgies, social justice activities, retreats, spirituality days.
- Administrative duties associated with the above (as directed by the APRE)
- Engage with student formation in structured and unstructured opportunities within the College
- Support the delivery of the Religious Life of the College in the classroom environment (not RE curriculum delivery
- Support of deliverables from the College’s Reconciliation Action Plan
- Support of First Nations students within the College
- Support of Days of National Significance
- Support of EAL/D students within the College

Experience in working with First Nations students is desirable.

- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.

- The Archdiocese of Brisbane has standards of conduct for workers to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children. Our commitment to these standards requires that we conduct Working With Children (WWC) and background referencing for all persons who will engage in direct and regular involvement with children and young people and/or adults-at-risk.
