**THE ROLE**
The Head of E-Commerce is a pivotal leadership role responsible for steering the e-commerce division towards growth and operational excellence. This includes managing online sales channels, enhancing customer experience, formulating strategic initiatives, and ensuring alignment with the NW's broader business goals. A crucial aspect of this role involves project management in collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer to improve operational efficiency and business performance.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- E-Commerce Strategy Development : Create and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with company goals.
- Traffic and Conversion Management : Oversee online activities focused on traffic acquisition, sales, and conversion optimization through A/B testing and analytics.
- Market Research and Insights : Conduct regular market research and analytics to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for growth.
- SEO and Online Visibility : Provide strategic direction for SEO optimization to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
- Customer Service Oversight : Manage customer service functions to ensure high-quality support and align policies with brand values.
- Project Leadership : Lead key e-commerce projects, collaborating with operations to set objectives and allocate resources effectively.
- Budget Management : Develop and manage the e-commerce budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and monitoring financial performance.Collaboration with Marketing and Creative Teams : Partner with marketing and creative teams to align campaigns and ensure brand consistency in e-commerce practices.
**ABOUT YOU**
If you love the Nutrition Warehouse brand and have experience across all aspects of ecommerce as well as managing a team, this is the opportunity for you We will also be looking for:
- Experience across all aspects of the eCommerce customer journey, from driving website traffic to platform performance & web development
- Sound understanding of web design and web analysis
- 5+ years’ experience in retail eCommerce operations
- Strong understanding of Shopify, Google Analytics, Facebook Business, Google Ads, Klaviyo, gorgias etc
- Knowledge of Attribution modelling, website speed optimisation, A/B testing, conversion management, sales journey optimisation, traffic analysis and reporting tools
- Knowledge and understanding of SEO principals
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Results focused and a strategic mindsetDegree qualification in eCommerce, Digital Marketing or related field
