The Major Client Group (“MCG”) serves over 1,400 clients in the large business segments across Australia with revenue exceeding $150m and complex loans of $100m to $500m. MCG Chief Operating Team is responsible for formulating, monitoring and executing customer obsessed strategies, a key segment within Business Bank.

MCG Chief Operating Team support critical frontline team activities to drive growth across the national team who support our large customers with complex needs. We work closely with a broad range of areas across the Group and Business Bank including finance teams, product segments, operations, change teams, events, marketing & communications, as well as working as an integral part of the Major Client Group Leadership Team.

Integral to our business, this role will provide a unique opportunity for the right individual to challenge themselves in their planning and execution capabilities through broad stakeholder engagement and working horizontally across various segments throughout the bank.

**Do work that matters**
- Drive strategic initiatives with the MCG EGM and Leadership Team
- Support lead the MCG segment, oversee the end to end business operations and be a trusted advisor to the frontline business
- Engage with teams across Business Banking and the wider Group to keep abreast of their strategic agenda and be aware of interdependencies
- Taking ownership of initiatives end to end, and independently manage deliverables
- Identifying roadblocks or dependencies impacting MCG initiatives and assisting to problem solve and escalate as required
- Lead in management of the MCG Leadership team’s operating cadence, contributing to formal papers, packs and action items
- Analysing information and data, structuring it clearly and concisely for stakeholders to interpret and make informed decisions

**We are interested in hearing from people who have**
- 1-3 years of frontline analyst/account manager/team manager experience, ideally in Business Bank
- Sound understanding of the Business Banking industry
- Excellent strategic thinking skills, including a structured approach to problem solving
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to exercise initiative and good judgement
- Ability to think differently and a passion to work in new ways to achieve exceptional results
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple deliverables concurrently
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship-building skills

**Your qualifications**
- Tertiary related qualifications in a business-related discipline are highly desirable
