As the Chief People Officer your mission is to strategically lead the People and Culture function to become proactive, expert customer-centric partners. The diversity of agencies and groups across the Portfolio and Department provides a unique challenge in developing Portfolio-wide strategies and managing significant, complex and sensitive issues.

**About You**

We are seeking an inspirational leader with the ability to engage staff and stakeholders in a vision, build a shared sense of direction, and design and deliver customer-focussed services.

You will be an experienced senior executive and people leader with a thorough understanding of the complexity of government operations, machinery of government and the change impact that comes with reform.

This is a rare opportunity to shape a significant organisation early in its lifecycle and build valuable capability. You will be reporting to the Deputy Secretary, Engagement, Operations & Governance and joining an impressive and cohesive executive leadership team.
