**Your opportunity**

As the Sydney CBD Precinct Manager, you’ll play a key role in overseeing the implementation and delivery of the Security Operational Framework across Scentre Group's teams in the heart of Sydney. This role focuses on building a strong network of relationships with authorities, emergency services, and neighboring businesses to ensure a safe and secure environment for our customers, partners, and employees.

This role oversees Sydney’s key precincts, including the luxury retail precinct, Sydney Central Plaza (Myer building), The Tower (a renowned tourist attraction), and 101 Castlereagh St, a mixed-use development with retail, commercial, and residential spaces requiring collaboration across strata teams.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

- Coordinate and lead incident management and operational risk processes for the precinct, including the preparation, planning of training exercises, and regular updates to evacuation plans.
- Analyse public liability and security incidents to identify hazards, patterns, and trends, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Actively manage security contracts to ensure financial and contractual obligations are met, and contractors remain compliant.
- Regularly review security contracts to adjust staffing levels based on business needs or changes in national threat levels.
- Oversee the annual budget, long-term forecasting, and lifecycle costing for precinct security systems, including preparing business cases.
- Create and manage safety, risk management, and security plans, including the Centre’s Terrorist Response Plans.
- Collaborate with specialised security training providers and authorities to design and execute tailored training exercises across the precinct.
- Manage and oversee 2 direct reports: Commercial Risk and Security Supervisor, and Westfield Sydney Risk and Security Supervisor, ensuring their alignment with company goals and operational standards.

This role is permanent, full-time opportunity based onsite at Westfield Sydney.
