**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Manage ongoing environmental monitoring (collection, analysis and reporting) in compliance with legal and other obligations
- Take samples of water, wastewater, soil and dust samples from onsite wastewater and stormwater holding ponds, local drains and waterways and other sampling points
- Conduct site checks and analysis on collected samples using laboratory equipment
- Investigate environmental incidents and complete corrective actions as required
- Maintain and implement environmental management plans and work instructions

**What you'll need to be successful**:

- 1-2 years experience in a closely related role required
- Degree qualification in Environment, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering or similar
- Experience in environmental monitoring including water, groundwater, soil, leachate, dust and odour highly advantageous
- Experience in data management, analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of environmental management systems and environmental legislation desired but not essential
- Initiative to work unsupervised while maintaining reporting requirements and deadlines
- Valid Drivers License
