**About the Company**

Davidson are a preferred supplier for the government sector and have strong partnerships within local, state and federal government. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Principal Policy Officer to commence a temporary contract until 30 June 2023.

**About the Role**
- Manage and lead projects to ensure successful development and timely delivery of the department’s strategic legislative and policy initiatives, including the preparation of associated supporting policy and technical documents.
- Interpret and analyse legislation and review policy proposals (including Cabinet submissions) and provide high quality and timely written and/or verbal advice regarding any implications.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with officers in other government departments to achieve efficient whole of government policy development.
- Undertake research and prepare and review Ministerial and other correspondence, reports, briefings, Cabinet Submissions and Executive Council documents.
- Lead by example in ensuring you demonstrate the agreed to principles of honesty, trust, accountability, transparency, and inclusiveness.
