**About the Department for Correctional Services**
The Department employs approximately 2,000 staff and has responsibility for nine prisons and sixteen Community Correctional offices across the state. Our vision is for a safer community by protecting the public and reducing re-offending. **Duties**
Provision of a confidential, high quality administrative and support service to the Regional Director and the Regional Management Team.

**Special Conditions**
- The position is based at the Northern Regional Office (Holden Hill) however is expected to travel between locations, in particular within the metropolitan locations
- Section 47 of the Public Sector Act 2009 applies in accordance with other provisions of the act and other applicable industrial entitlements.
- The incumbent is required to satisfactorily complete a National Criminal History Check.
- A current South Australian Driver’s Licence is essential.
- A flexible approach to working hours is required.
- Some interstate and intrastate travel will be required which may necessitate overnight absences.

***Additional Information**
This is a temporary vacancy for up to 12 months with a possibility of extension (i.e. until return of the incumbent)
This position is based at the Northern Regional Office (Holden Hill) however, is expected to travel between locations, in particular within the metropolitan locations.
It is a requirement for any non-ongoing DCS employees to be fully vaccinated with a Therapeutic Goods Administration approved COVID-19 vaccination**.**
