**About the Role**
As an integral part of the HR team, this role contributes significantly to recruitment and onboarding as well as nurturing employee relations, training, development, and overseeing performance management. Collaborate seamlessly with the HR team and other departments to harmonise all activities with organisational objectives, goals, and policies.
**Duties**
This role will include duties such as:
- Addressing employee inquiries on policies, procedures, benefits, and HR matters, offering timely and accurate guidance.
- Maintaining employee records, overseeing personnel files, contracts, and HR-related documents.
- Managing onboarding, guiding new hires through procedures, completing documentation, and conducting orientations.
- Assisting with resolving employee relations issues and grievances, ensuring adherence to policies and legal requirements.
- Supporting performance management, helping with goal setting, evaluations, and feedback sessions.
- Ad-hoc administration duties for the HR team as required.
**Skills & Experience**
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge and experience of all key HR processes, practices, and employment laws within retail space.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Awareness of cultural diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity practices.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
