**Salary**:From $125,693 to $138,510 per annum, Grade 9-10, (excluding superannuation and leave loading)

**About the NSW Crime Commission**:
The NSW Crime Commission’s purpose is to disrupt, reduce and prevent the incidence of organised and other serious crime in New South Wales. The Commission is structured into several divisions, support teams and specialist units.
The function of conducting criminal and financial investigations is assigned to the Commission’s Operations Division. Investigations are typically conducted pursuant to a Management Committee reference to investigate or approval to work in cooperation with a joint task force comprising one or more of the Commission’s partner agencies. The Operations Division is also responsible for the Commission’s Strategic Intelligence capability, the provision of specialist investigative support services and of advice and recommendations to Government in relation to minimising the impact of serious and organised crime on the NSW community.
**About the role**
The Team Leader Intelligence is a senior practitioner responsible for leading and supervising the day-to-day operational aspects of concurrent criminal and financial investigations of intelligence projects. This includes leading and supporting a team of intelligence specialists in progressing complex, difficult and sensitive assignments sometimes against strict deadlines. The Team Leader Intelligence provides advice to the Intelligence Manager with a view to efficiently achieving investigative, intelligence or collections objectives. The role will also engage and provide advice and support to partner law enforcement agencies to ensure effective collaboration.
**Essential Requirements**:
- Demonstrated understanding and experience of intelligence-led investigations.
- Degree qualifications and / or relevant experience in law enforcement, intelligence, government investigations, criminology, law, accounting or another relevant discipline
- Excellent organisational, time management, influencing and problem-solving skills, including a demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands in a high volume/high stress work environment.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and presentation skills, including effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead, manage, coach and guide a high performing team in a specialised, complex working environment.
- Mature outlook, sound judgement and high standards of personal integrity and the ability to maintain privacy and secrecy requirements and deal with sensitive information with tact and discretion.
