Due to an internal progression opportunity, we are looking for a **Crew Performance Manager **to join our team on a full-time 12-month fixed term contract at Melbourne Airport. In this key leadership role you will lead a team of 80-120 Cabin Crew members and Cabin Managers, and be responsible for managing end-to-end employment relationships with a focus on making a real impact to our safety and service goals.

As the Crew Performance Manager, you will review and drive your team’s performance, conduct and manage related matters in line with department policies and procedures and relevant legislation, and proactively manage attendance with a focus on supporting our people and ensuring their wellbeing. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a high volume, can provide direction, manage multiple stakeholders, motivate and support a team to build a strong service culture and meet Cabin Crew strategic objectives.

**Reporting to the Base Manager your key responsibilities will include**:

- Proactively lead and motivate your team to achieve departmental business objectives and performance metrics
- Understand the key drivers of performance, in order to identify and analyse trends in attendance, on-time performance, customer satisfaction and engagement
- Track your team’s compliance with the consistent delivery of our in-flight service experience
- Actively champion service recognition programs
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to contribute to Jetstar business objectives
- Support team members to enable career progression and performance improvement
- Ensure an understanding of and compliance with relevant legislation and Aviation Security, Health and Safety and Jetstar policies
- Deliver timely communication of critical business information, customer feedback and upward feedback from crew
- Maintain an excellent level of crew engagement at your base

**To be considered for this role you will have**:

- Experience managing a large team, with a warm, empathetic and approachable operating style
- Demonstrated ability to provide direction, motivation and support to a large, remote and dynamic front line team, to drive engagement and build a strong service culture
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with an innovative approach to performance management and development
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build positive relationships and adapt your style to your audience
- A strategic, commercial mindset and organisational skills to effectively manage multiple issues, timeframes and stakeholders
- Sound judgement, proactive thinking and fit-for-purpose solutions to meet an ever-changing customer and employee landscape
- Ability to work flexibly to meet operational requirements.
