**About the Role**
We are searching for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our growing contract support team based in Brisbane to oversee and manage the major contracted customer relationship. Reporting to the National Contracts and Compliance Manager this role ensures the logistics requirements of a major account are met and exceeds customer service expectations.
**Duties**
- Actively build relationships with the key contracted customer stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations
- Effectively communicate customer’s needs to the Centurion organisation and ensure needs are met in a commercially viable manner and KPI’s are met
- Key point of contact for a given customer contracts across the regions
- Incorporate current and future customer needs and expectations into business strategies
- Participation in customer site based and East Coast meetings relative to the customer base
- Build relationships with key associated organisations in regional and metropolitan areas
- Market and create additional value streams throughout the regions
- Create and contribute to business development opportunities
- Create and implement customer service agreements
- Manage, monitor and mentor the performance of direct reports, identify their training and development needs and arrange performance intervention activities as required

- Previous experience managing key accounts. Experience within the Transport and Logistics Industry or Mining and Resources Industry is highly regarded.
- Strong leadership, mentoring and management skills
- Commitment to outstanding customer service
- Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with all levels of staff and management
- Understanding of data mining and presentation of statistics
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to travel when required
- Ability to think creatively to solve problems and address potential service issues.
- Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business and/or logistics is highly regarded.
