CK Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Team Leader to fill a busy warehouse position.

Our client designs, engineers, and manufactures gas, electric and portable outdoor heating products. They are well known around the world and are located in a south-western suburb of Sydney.

**About you**

We are looking for a hands-on, organised, motivated and well-coordinated Production Team Leader.

**Role Description**
- Manages the day-to-day operation of assembly
- Improves employee productivity within existing areas and processes
- Implements production schedules, monitors production processes and adjusts
- Schedules as required
- Ensures planned KPIs of efficiency and performance are met or exceeded
- Co-ordinates labour and material resources
- Prepare daily and weekly work schedules
- Waterboy / copper tube assembly
- Machine maintenance
- Ensure quality oversight and identify quality improvement
- Organise and maintain inventory and storage area
- Maintain item records, document necessary information, and utilise reports to project warehouse status
- Interface with customers to answer questions and solve problems
- Determine staffing levels and assign workload
- Motivate and engage staff to meet objectives and work with a diverse range of people
- Ensure that the warehouse and associated areas are tidy at all times

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in production assembly in medium to large quantities with practical knowledge of production methods and procedures.
- Forklift Licence (Desired)
- Strong planning and organising skills including the ability to manage several work streams simultaneously.
- Highly analytical with a sound problem solving ability.
- People management - skilled at motivating a team to give 100% effort.
- A commitment to WHS in everything that is done.
- Good level of computer literacy.
- Excellent working knowledge of ERP system.
- Experience in the supervision of production team meeting schedule requirement, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to methodically multi-task, and organise work priorities.
- Good customer service skills, both internal & external.
- Positive “do what I need to do to provide solution” attitude.
- Have Car & Licence.

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
