**The Company**

Our client is a market leading, transport business who pride themselves on their high performance and sustainable business. Playing a pivotal role within the business we are looking for professionals who want to pursue a career in transport. This role will be managing a large fleet of drivers around metro Melbourne.

**The Role**

Reporting into the Depot Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operation and be responsible for:

- Ensuring the company delivers optimum performance through their service.
- Direct accountability for the pool of drivers allocated out of your depot.
- Ensure continued development of their customer centric culture.
- Management of resources including rostering, planned leave, absenteeism and day-to-day employee availability.
- Managing national fatigue guideless and that the business is meeting all regulations.
- All other OHS requirements.
- Providing strong leadership and management of all drivers.
- Manage all escalations and investigations.

**Your Background**

In order to be successful in this role you will;
- Transport experience is not an essential requirement but having the right attitude and desire to learn and join a progressive business/industry is.
- Experience in building high performing teams.
- Knowledge of logistics would be beneficial.
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong communicator and ability to cross communicate effectively.
