**About the Role**:
This role drives our day-to-day operational efficiency, safety and customer service levels. You'll be utilising your exceptional communication and problem solving skills to build relationships, teamwork and a commitment to achieving success through our operational KPI’s.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you'll demonstrate a proven track record that includes:

- Effective planning and management of operational costs, mass and COR compliance.
- Planning and utilising fleet for maximum efficiency and capacity.
- Coordinate the routing of loads to maximise the efficient use of equipment, subcontractors and labour.
- Overcome constraints of day-to-day requirements and proactive problem solving to ensure pick-ups and deliveries.
- Ensure Dangerous Goods are handled compliant with the Dangerous Goods Act and OH&S
- Ensure driver work schedules are in accordance with Fatigue Management regulations
- Monitor and ensure driver pre-trip checks are completed.
- Seek process improvement initiatives and implement action plans.
- Learning and ability to take direction from Operations Manager.
- Availability for rostered weekend work (if required)
- Focused on communications, quality and customer service.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Transport / Logistics industry
- Operational experience in Fleet Allocation.
- Solid knowledge of the Melbourne metropolitan area.
- Have an passion and commitment to high performance and success.
- Have a proven track record in managing Safety and CoR responsibilities
- Ability to carry out all duties within set time frames and follow instruction.
