People & Culture Advisor

Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, the People and Culture Advisor is responsible for supporting the employee journey and experience; from their professional development to achieving career goals, building strong relationships and providing strategic guidance on people and culture initiatives to key stakeholders.

**Key responsibilities of the role will include**:

- Collaborating with leaders across all levels to develop and implement people and culture strategies that align with the company's goals and values.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of people-related topics, including performance management, employee relations, talent acquisition, and development.
- Driving employee engagement initiatives and create programs that promote a positive work environment, employee recognition, and work-life balance.
- Supporting the development and delivery of training programs to enhance leadership and management capabilities, diversity and inclusion awareness, and other relevant topics.
- Conducting thorough investigations and resolving employee concerns or conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders including government and union partners.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Minimum two years’ industry experience, preferably in a similar advisory role.
- Sound Employee Relations and Industrial Relations experience with knowledge about Award covered roles including Enterprise Agreements.
- A demonstrated ability to advise, coach and influence all levels of management and employees and work effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex and sensitive information.
- Sound IR experience combined with deep knowledge with interpreting complex Enterprise Agreements and facilitating related people processes.
- Effective problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Partner with the business on end-to-end people solutions including talent development, engagement, and change management.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field or HR certification is highly desirable.
